Pastor Chris Pandolfi

Pastor Chris Pandolfi and his wife Sheila lead Calvary Baptist Church with a deep commitment to expository preaching, discipleship, and the Medford community.

Under his leadership, Calvary Baptist has remained steadfast in its mission — to know Christ, be conformed into His image, and to make Him known throughout Greater Medford and beyond.

History of Calvary Baptist

THE BEGINNING
Calvary Baptist Church Founded
Calvary Baptist Church was established in Medford, Long Island with a vision to reach the greater community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
GROWTH
Expanding Our Reach
The congregation grows and expands its ministries, adding Sunday School programs, children's ministry, and community outreach efforts throughout Medford and Long Island.
TODAY
Pastor Chris Pandolfi Leads Calvary
Under Pastor Chris's leadership, Calvary Baptist continues to grow in faith, community, and outreach — committed to knowing Christ and making Him known throughout Greater Medford.

Why We Exist

Calvary Baptist Church exists to glorify God by knowing Christ, being conformed into His image, and making Him known — in Medford, on Long Island, and to the ends of the earth.

We are a Bible-believing, gospel-preaching congregation committed to expository preaching, biblical discipleship, and loving our community in the name of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith

The Holy Scriptures
We teach that the Bible is God's written revelation to man — the sixty-six books given to us by the Holy Spirit, verbally inspired in every word, absolutely inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed. It is the only infallible rule of faith and practice.
God
We teach that there is but one living and true God — an infinite, all-knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each equally deserving worship and obedience.
Jesus Christ
We teach that Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Trinity, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. He is the only mediator between God and man.
The Holy Spirit
We teach that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, coequal with the Father and Son. He convicts, regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, and empowers believers for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption.
Salvation
We teach that salvation is wholly of God by grace, on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ and the merit of His shed blood — not on the basis of human merit or works. It is received through repentance and faith in Christ alone.
The Church
We teach that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ. The local church is a body of baptized believers gathered for worship, discipleship, and mission.
